Master’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Food Security, Economics, or related discipline.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing livelihood and food security initiatives within donor-funded development projects.

• Proven track record in designing and managing market-based livelihood, cash transfer, or agriculture-based income generation programs.

• Experience working with ethnic and marginalized communities, preferably in the CHT or similarly complex geographic contexts.

• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including government departments and NGOs.

• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills.

• Strong written and spoken proficiency in English and Bangla.

POSITION SUMMARY

• The Specialist, Livelihoods and Food Security will provide technical support for the effective planning, implementation, and supervision of livelihood and food security interventions. This includes cash grants for highly vulnerable households, food basket distribution for nutritionally at-risk children, household income-generating activities (IGAs), and skills development for mothers and caregivers.

• The role will work closely with field teams, government counterparts, and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery, strong community engagement, and integration with nutrition and WASH components.
