Job Context:
∎ Provision of life-saving WASH services to the Rohingya refugee population in Ukhiya.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until January 31, 2023.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Community mobilization and sensitization for clean environment at Camp level.
∎ Community awareness for waste segregation at HH and Communal bin.
∎ Capacity building of SWM Volunteers for waste segregation, composting and recycling process.
∎ Supervision of SWM Volunteers for daily waste collection, transportation, segregation, recycling and land fill site.
∎ Daily monitoring & follow-up communal bin and solid waste land fill site and ensure well functional.
∎ To assist the Sanitation team to functional of the Sanitation facilities.
∎ To prepare need assessment for repair & maintenance of Sanitation facilities at Camp level.
∎ To conduct different session with stakeholders, community leaders, religious leader, users group for ensuring clean environment at Rohingya community
∎ Lead effective community engagement, through improving knowledge and changing the attitudes and behavior of the targeted communities.
∎ Mitigate any issues/challenges
∎ Conduct different survey as per required of Sanitation facilities .
∎ To undertake innovative idea or new community engagement approach as and when required by the Project Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Hands on experience on community engagement approach and Hygiene promotion activities.
∎ Should have knowledge & experience on community mobilization, basic hygiene promotion at Rohingya Refugee Camp, Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Able to communicate in local language (Cox’s Bazar).
∎ Ability to work within a team.
∎ Attitude to work in flexible hours as and when required.
∎ Good knowledge on the camp-based intervention area.
Salary: Tk. 29500 (Monthly)
