Job Context:
∎ Software Support Engineers serve primarily to address technical issues relating to software
∎ implementation, function and upgrades. They resolve customer complaints or problems and create
∎ product problem reports and troubleshooting documents for each issue. Software Support Engineers
∎ also work closely with development teams to identify and resolve any technical problems that might
∎ arise during the development of software. These engineers might also be involved in developing and
∎ leading training classes to educate customers about software products.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provides onsite help desk support and the 1st level of Technical Support to the Client Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
∎ Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers Provide support for ongoing production application availability
∎ Inform client functionality requests or software change requests to development team
∎ Participate in code reviews and automated build script testing
∎ Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
∎ Ensure all issues are properly logged
∎ Documentation of processes and operational procedure
Additional Requirements:
∎ Basic scripting, programming, and coding
∎ Any experience with programming languages would be highly advantageous - C#, .NET,
∎ Java/JavaScript etc.
∎ Experience in writing SQL queries
∎ Proficient knowledge of REST API / SDK frameworks. Knowledge of web application
∎ development is a plus
∎ Strong passion for technology
∎ Strong Problem Solving skills
∎ Good communication skills, pro-active, self-motivated and positive attitude
∎ A sense of Good Customer Service
