Core Technical Skills (Must-Have):

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing principles, and SDLC/STLC

• Experience with manual testing of web applications and mobile interfaces

• Knowledge of functional, regression, UI/UX, and performance testing

• Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman

• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive testing

• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and browser dev tools

• Experience with version control systems like Git/GitHub

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins/GitLab CI

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Lighthouse)

• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)

• Basic knowledge of database queries (SQL or NoSQL)

Job Context:

• We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented SQA Engineers to join our growing tech team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and stability of our web and mobile applications through structured testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements
• Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistency
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Insomnia
• Collaborate with developers and designers to clarify requirements and improve product quality
• Participate in agile/scrum meetings and help define clear acceptance criteria
• Perform regression testing, validate bug fixes, and ensure readiness for release
• Document test results, report bugs, and provide feedback for continuous improvement
