Job Summary:

• Oceanget is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software QA Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and usability of our software products. You will work closely with developers to identify bugs, verify fixes, and ensure that every release meets our high standards before reaching the users.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis: Review software requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

• Test Planning: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured Test Plans and Test Cases based on project needs.

• Execution: Perform thorough Manual Testing (Functional, Regression, and Smoke testing) on Web and Mobile platforms.

• Bug Reporting: Identify, record, and document bugs in detail using tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Redmine.

• API Testing: Verify backend services and data integrity using tools like Postman.

• UI/UX Verification: Ensure the final product matches design mockups (Figma/Adobe XD) and maintains a seamless user experience.

• Regression Testing: Execute repetitive test cases to ensure that new code changes do not break existing functionalities.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with the development team to prioritize bug fixes and track them through the entire lifecycle.

• Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing (Fresh graduates with a strong understanding of QA fundamentals are welcome).

• Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).

• Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.

• Technical Tools: Proficiency in Postman (for API), Browser DevTools, and Bug Tracking software.

• Analytical Skills: Strong logical thinking with a "hacker" mindset to find edge cases and hidden bugs.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting issues clearly.

Nice to Have (Bonus):

• Basic knowledge of SQL for database verification.

• Familiarity with Automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Knowledge of Performance or Security testing.
