Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through rigorous testing, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers to deliver flawless software solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of excellence.
Responsibilities:
Write and execute test cases based on requirements.
Log and track defects using test management tools.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Assist in preparing test plans, test data, and test scripts.
Work closely with developers to reproduce, isolate, and troubleshoot issues.
Document test results and share clear, concise reports.
Learn and apply QA processes, methodologies, and organizational standards.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
Participate in daily standups and sprint activities in Agile teams.
Stay updated with basic testing tools and practices.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and APIs.
Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Strong understanding of databases and writing complex SQL queries.
Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira).
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven QA experience in web, mobile, or SaaS application testing.
