Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications.
∎ Design, implement, and manage databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
∎ Develop and maintain APIs for front-end components and other services to interact with the back-end system.
∎ Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
∎ Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard application data.
∎ Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver new features and enhancements.
∎ Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, and debug applications.
∎ Create and maintain technical documentation for back-end processes and systems.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
∎ Candidate will be working at UK hours (GMT and GMT+1). In local BD time (2.00 PM to 11.00 PM)
∎ Work after hours if required to overlap UK times.
∎ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Back End Developer.
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
∎ Proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, PHP, Node.js, or similar.
∎ Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
∎ Experience with RESTful API design and development.
∎ Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
∎ Experience with back-end frameworks and libraries.
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
∎ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
∎ Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
∎ Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
∎ Understanding of front-end technologies and how they interact with back-end services.
∎ Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
∎ Experience with microservices architecture.

∎ We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in back-end development, with a strong understanding of server-side technologies, databases, and API integration. As a back-end developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the core server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
