Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline preferably in Arts / Social Sciences..
∎ Substantial relevant experiences (at least 2 years) in IPT, BCC and social changes within a development organization preferably in humanitarian response.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The SBCC Officer will be responsible to design, facilitate, train and implement the interactive popular theatre and behavioral change communication interventions and activities at the community level (Rohingya and Host Community) in collaboration with other project personnel. S/he will be reportable to Project Coordinator but maintain functional relation with MHPSS Coordinator.
∎ ? Expected result:
∎ It is anticipated that after receiving the training, each member of the IPT group will able to perform drama show on CP and other child related issue in front of the policy maker, public and community people for awareness raising, motivating and make them influence to take decision and action in favour of the children.
∎ Key Area-1: Coordination and communication
∎ Coordinate and Communicate with Union-Chairman/Upazila- UNO/Camp-CiC and other agencies on IPT issues.
∎ Coordinate with Cultural Authority/ institutions at different levels (host and camp) to facilitate participation of children in various programs.
∎ Coordinate and communicate with other project personnel to buy in the supports from them to design, organize and implement the project activities.
∎ Key Area-2 : Intervention and activity Deign
∎ Review and/or develop program strategies in consultation with community, program personnel and other key stakeholders.
∎ Prepare and/or facilitate of various thematic Script (not more than one hour) on Child Protection Concerns (Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation & Violence) in consultation with community (children, adolescent, men and women and others) and other key stakeholders.
∎ Develop BCC issues in consultation with key stakeholders.
∎ Key Area-3 : Group Formation and Capacity Building
∎ Facilitate and organize IPT and cultural Groups with children/adolescent in the working area and involve adults active participation in IPT Groups.
∎ Facilitate training for program personnel and volunteers on IPT & develop community based & block wise / union wise independent IPT Group with children and adults
∎ Facilitate rehearsal schedule and facilitate training/rehearsal on regular basis.
∎ Facilitate training to Child/Adolescent Club and parents group, and CBCPC members as behavior change agent of the society (Both Host and Rohingya)
∎ Key Area-4 : Implementation of IPT show/dram and BCC activities
∎ Demonstrate/Facilitate to perform required number of IPT Shows
∎ Costume selection or design and sound setup based on target audience
∎ Procure program related materials coordination with procurement department
∎ Lead to Arrange Inter-camp / Inter-Union IPT Competition. Debate Competition, Cultural Competition.
∎ Organize and coordinate to observe various right based day (like- World Refugee day, International Child Rights Day, Girl Child Rights Day etc)
∎ Facilitate various meeting or seminar or discussion session on Good or positive parenting without violence, abuse & assault.
∎ Conduct supportive supervision and provide technical support to the project staff and volunteers in conducting BCC activities through demonstration
∎ Key Area-5 : Reporting and Documentation
∎ Prepare event and periodic reports for the events
∎ Documenting major events
∎ Be able and willing to respond to natural disasters or emergency situations in Bangladesh, when needed and any other task assigned by Supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fluent in Bangla and English (especially in speaking and writing).
∎ Work as team player and has flexibility in his/her work
∎ Has to be willing to take challenge of working in a participatory approach for Rohingya Community/ Host Community
∎ Good communication, Facilitation and motivational skill.
∎ Understanding of local cultural language
∎ Abilities to undertake extensive travel to village/community level
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Advance user of MS-word, Excel, Power point and internet browsing
Salary:
∎ Tk. 45000 - 55000 (Monthly)
∎ Taxes payable to be deducted)
