Job Context:
∎ NGO Forum is seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual with exceptional communication skills to provide technical support to the implementation of Social Architectureapproach for inclusiveWASH services with a focus on women and girls.As part of the Project team, this position needs collaboration with other sectors (Gender, Protection) and various stakeholders such as local government institutes and development partners.
∎ The duration of the project will be until June 30, 2022.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum of three years’ work experience in a similar role using usercentered design approaches that ensure social cohesion and promote environmental sustainability
∎ Demonstrated experience in building the capacity of teams and/or partners in user centered design approaches that encourage social inclusion& cohesion, effective use of space, etc
∎ Proven track record of engaging and managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders
∎ Research, monitoring and evaluation program related experience ideally with practical experiences conducting qualitative interviews e.g., leading focus groups, one-on-one interviews etc.
∎ Experience of working in a Humanitarian Response or any difficult to reach areas would be an added advantage.
∎ Strong interest in the conscious design of environments that encourage a desired range of social behaviors, with focus on the design of WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) facilities
∎ Understanding of and commitment to adhere to equity, diversity, gender, child safety and staff health and wellbeing principles throughout the design / construction of facilities
∎ Staff coaching and mentorship skills
∎ Proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English
∎ Excellent time management skills, flexibility, and an ability to prioritize tasks
∎ Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as the commitment to equal opportunities.
∎ Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women’s rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work.
∎ Ability to work independently and as a team player.
∎ A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
∎ Excellent communication, interpersonal skillsand relationship building skills.
∎ Ability to do critical analysis and find solution.
∎ Ability to work with the community in a diverse and challenging situation.
∎ Respect to other’s opinion.
Salary: Tk. 80000 (Monthly)
