Responsibilities & Context:
Job Description:
1. Supervise all interior and finishing works of the PNTP Admin and Workshop Building at Purbachal.
2. Must have solid experience in interior fit-out and finishing works such as flooring, ceiling, partition, painting, and joinery.
3. Ensure that all works are executed strictly as per approved drawings, BOQ, and project specifications.
4. Verify the quality of materials and workmanship before approval of any finishing activity.
5. Coordinate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and other discipline engineers to maintain smooth workflow at the site.
6. Prepare daily progress reports, maintain site records, and support the DCM in preparing weekly progress updates.
7. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and proper use of PPE by all workers and subcontractors.
8. Inspect each stage of finishing works to ensure high-quality standards and prevent rework.
9. Monitor manpower deployment and ensure effective utilization of materials and resources.
10. Assist in verifying subcontractor bills, work measurements, and material consumption reports.
11. Report directly to the Deputy Construction Manager (DCM) and ensure daily progress as per the approved schedule.
12. Must stay in or near the Purbachal project area to ensure continuous site supervision and quick response to site needs.
13. Willing to work extended hours and any shift (day or night) as decided by his superior due to the project’s double-shift nature.
14. The engineer must be capable of handling any additional tasks or related responsibilities assigned by his superior for the smooth execution of works.
15. Should be proactive, disciplined, quality-conscious, and committed to delivering all interior works within the specified time and quality standards.
