Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Supervise all MEP installation works including Electrical (Power, Lighting, LV Systems), Fire Detection & Protection, and HVAC systems.
Ø Ensure installation is done as per approved shop drawings, design intent, technical specifications, and international standards.
Ø Conduct daily inspections and ensure that installation activities are aligned with project progress schedules.
Ø Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure smooth MEP integration within the overall construction process.
Ø Communicate effectively with contractors, consultants, and vendors to resolve site issues promptly.
Ø Conduct regular MEP coordination meetings with subcontractors to monitor progress and address technical challenges.
Ø Check and review material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings for compliance with specifications.
Ø Ensure all MEP installations adhere to BNBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC, and other applicable standards.
Ø Conduct testing and commissioning of all MEP systems and ensure documentation of results.
Ø Ensure that all MEP site works are executed safely and comply with company EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies.
Ø Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports of MEP works.
Ø Maintain accurate records of drawings, inspection requests, non-conformance reports, and material deliveries.
Ø Support the project team in final handover documentation and as-built drawings preparation.
