Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in disaster risk management or related field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting field level DRR assessments with community actors, including local authorities, CSOs, schools, etc.
∎ Facilitating participatory design of community-based DRR mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery interventions, ensuring they are contextually relevant and applying evidence-based best practices.
∎ Developing tailored DRR curriculum and facilitating training of trainers (ToT) workshops.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 10 or more years of previous experience providing technical assistance to DRR programs.
∎ Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
∎ Good communication skills, in both written and spoken English.
∎ Previous experience working with RI or another international NGO with a similar scope of programming
∎ Specific experience in the Bangladesh or regional DRR context.
∎ Experience designing DRR projects and proposals, and developing project budgets.
∎ The ability to work proficiently in Bengal an asset.
