• Essential: Registered Midwife Diploma
• Essential : Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered midwife.
• Preferable : Experience with NGO.

Assessment Strategies:
• Being responsible for assessing the community perception of sexual violence, the perceived needs of survi-vors of sexual violence and reasons survivors do not seek health care
• In collaboration with the international staff responsible for SV program, develop, monitor and evaluate strategies for MSF’s SV approach in the project based on MSF’s overall strategy and procedures for SV
Outreach and awareness:
• Being responsible for training, support and follow up of the outreach team for SV awareness rais-ing and community engagement to develop and improve awareness raising activities and commu-nity dialogue, discussion and messaging, materials and methods regarding the medical and psycho-logical consequences of SV, availability of medical and psychosocial care and the importance of timely access after sexual violence
• Being responsible for identifying and engaging with the key target groups of trusted, respected community members and support services for outreach activities together with the outreach team
Medical and psychosocial care:
• Being responsible for the set-up of care pathway and facilities for SV activities in line with MSF SV guidelines and MSF standards and procedures
• Being responsible for the application of the 5 steps of implementation with the main objective to create timely access to quality and comprehensive medical and psychosocial care to survivors of sexual violence and intimate partner violence (IPV).
Referral and coordination:
• Ensure information on the available support services for survivors of SV is gathered, a referral pathway is in place and that referrals are monitored and evaluated
• Participate in SV sub-cluster meetings and maintain contacts and communicate and coordinate with the different formal and informal support services
Monitoring and evaluations:
• Ensure relevant data is captured using the SV data tool, stored, with ensured confidentiality, and analyzed.
Training:
• Identify training needs, organize and coordinate training, coaching and supervision about SV for MSF health care providers and other MSF staff members, including community outreach teams and other staff, based on the findings of learning needs assessments, knowledge, attitude and practices questionnaires and observation.
The SV program supervisor is based in Kutupalong Hospital. His/her role will be to:
• Train, mentor and support SGBV care providers
o Observe SGBV care providers with survivors
o Regularly re-assess knowledge and skills using the competency checklist
o Provide on-the-job mentoring and support
o Deliver training sessions to SV care providers according to training schedule
• Improve safe identification of survivors in Kutupalong hospital
• Ensure the care provision room is welcoming and friendly for survivors
• Ensure close collaboration with mental health counsellors and team to support beneficiaries
• Support SV Health Promotion activities
o Collaborate with KTP HP team to review SV HP plan.
o Observe the team delivering HP messaging and provide mentoring and feedback
o Regularly discuss materials, methods with SV messengers, adapt and improve, support implementation of new materials and methods, plan for discussions and dialogue
o Organize schedule to target groups, regularly discuss target groups, support and monitor delivery of HP to target groups
• Ensure close collaboration with MSF OCA Balukhali CBC, SGBV and HP team.
• In collaboration with Humanitarian Affairs (HA) department in KTP, mainstreaming the protection concern of the survivor and making sure the referrals is in line with MSF OCA Protection SoP
• Ensure care of abandoned babies, following the SoP for care of abandoned babies in MSF OCA.
• Ensure effective collaboration between colleagues and all departments (midwives, nurses, MD’s, MAMs, etc.)
• Ensure close collaboration with midwife supervisors focused on SRH OPD and maternity
• Ensure close collaboration with other GBV actors.
• Give briefing on SGBV to all new national staff in their induction schedule
• Give briefing on SGBV to all new IMS in their induction schedule
• Sensitize all MSF staff on SGBV
• Organize and facilitate MSF SGBV committee
• Attend SGBV sub-cluster meeting as per schedule
• Create staff schedule and ensure the availability of qualified staff in department while reporting to direct hierarchical managers, ensures that HR policy is followed and that a timely rostering and holiday planning is in place
• Conduct data reporting and analysis (review SGBV registration book, update SGBV tool, write monthly medical report monthly)
• Participates in annual planning, provide solutions and action plans for identified challenges, including follow-up on these action plans
This is a Permanent Contract with three months of probation period.
• Salary according to Level 7 of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 78,000/- gross, before seniority and income tax deduction).
• Salary is not negotiable.
• 2 annual leave days per month worked.
