Educational Requirements:
∎ 5 Pass

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that all materials and auxiliary supplies are available prior to beginning work
∎ Turns knobs, screws, and dials to adjust settings of machine, according to garment style and observation of operation.
∎ Replacing sewing machine parts and perform basic maintenance, such as oiling machine.
∎ Position materials under needles to sew them together or make patterns.
∎ Sew missing stitches or replacement parts in accordance to repair instructions provided.
∎ Observe operations to detect any faults or defects in stitching.
∎ Attach button, grips, hooks, and fasteners to finished garments.
∎ Attach elastic or tape to garments as specified in the work order.
∎ Ensure that the finished product conforms to the design and merchandising instructions provided in the work order.
∎ Position item under needle, using marks on machine, clamp or template, edges of cloth, or markings on cloth as guides.
∎ Draw thread through guides, tensions, and needles and adjusts machine functions, according to fabric type.
∎ Perform general and preventative maintenance tasks on sewing machines to ensure their longevity.
∎ Count number of garments stitched during a shift and records this information in company provided logs.

∎ Age 18 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply

∎ NID for age 20 to 45 & Birth certificate for 18 to 19 (photocopy)
∎ Family income certificate (original) from Chairman/Member/Ward Commissioner
