Education:
∎ B.Sc. in Civil Engineering / Civil & Environment Engineering / Water Resource / Sanitation / Water Engineering with relevant working experience.

∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Working experience with NGO, Development Agency in WASH response, Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program in Cox's bazar preferable. Professional work experience in different WASH project implementation, monitoring, operation and reporting. Experience in the design, construction and supervision of WASH infrastructure. Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (AutoCAD, GIS, MS Word, Epanet. Excel and project management software)Ability to communicate with people in local language (Cox’s Bazar)High in English (written/verbal).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure effective implementation of the WASH service following in alignment with the work plan, providing necessary guidance under the supervisor’s direction.
∎ Prepare design, drawing and estimate Water and Sanitation infrastructures independently.
∎ Supervision of WASH infrastructures for construction, upgradation and rehabilitation as well as collaborative work with logistic/procurement team.
∎ Technical supervision on Water Distribution Network, Water Quality, Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant (FSTP), Solis Waste Management and others WASH facilities.
∎ Conduct Technical supervision and verification of construction materials of WASH infrastructure, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawing, design and quality standards before construction/installation.
∎ Review the existing technologies and analyze their performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
∎ Determination of the vulnerability, effectiveness and the technical and financial aspects of those technologies by conducting feasibility study.
∎ Modify existing water and Sanitation facilities to make it more robust in terms of different vulnerabilities of the project areas.
∎ Design technical curriculums, lesson plans, modules, standard operational produce and handouts for technical skill training related to water supply and sanitation technologies.
∎ Prepare and submit various reports including monthly report, narrative report, visit report, meeting minutes, progress report as well as need based report to the supervisor.
∎ Facilitate donor and sectoral expert field visits and prepare visit briefing notes, presentation on WASH efforts (technical, analytical progress).
∎ Demonstrated effective facilitation skills to promote teamwork, collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.
