Education:
∎ BSc in Engineering (Civil /Water Resources) from any recognized University. Master or equivalent degree will get preference.

∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ Experience in Cox’s Bazar humanitarian and water supply will be more suitable.
∎ Understanding of technical & social issues related to water supply & sanitation.
∎ Experience in preparing project work plan and budget.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Strong multitasking and stakeholder coordination skills.
∎ Experience in building construction & pipeline.
∎ Expertise in CAD (AutoCAD 2D/3D) is must.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and multicultural team.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The purpose of the Senior Technical Officer is to ensure the effective implementation of WASH activities within the organization's projects. The role involves planning & implementation of Water Supply Implementation project in Teknaf area.
∎ Responsible for construction & upgradation of water supply system in target area.
∎ Responsible for ensuring potable water in target area as per standard of UNHCR.
∎ Assist the Technical Manager in overall planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the project.
∎ Technical supervision and cross-checking of relevant hardware construction materials before installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.
∎ Conduct pre-feasibility and feasibility of the relevant works.
∎ Prepare materials requisition for the project activities & ensure required materials in the field stock.
∎ Responsible for feasibility survey, design, prepare the estimation of quantities and cost detailed drawings and other necessary documents of relevant construction works.
∎ Maintain up-to-date records of all field level activities to show a status of the work, the status of construction materials, equipment at store and construction site.
∎ Perform project management functions; calculate project quantities; prepare project cost estimates, specifications and coordinate activities with other external agencies in the target area.
∎ Attend various internal and external meetings regarding engineering topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups, and organizations regarding engineering issues.
∎ Ensure regular estimation of water supply capacity in his target area.
∎ Liaise with stakeholders (RRRC representative, block leaders, community, partner agencies etc) for smooth implementation of project activities.
∎ Support the Technical Manager in preparing monthly progress report(s).Ensure daily report, monthly report of his/her responsible area in developed format.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team.
