• As a Senior Student Counselor specializing in International Admissions, you will be responsible for guiding and advising prospective students on opportunities for study abroad, including providing detailed information on university programs, visa processes, scholarships, and academic requirements. You will work closely with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, assisting them in making well-informed decisions regarding their education in foreign institutions.
• In this role, you will be expected to develop personalized educational plans for students based on their academic goals, preferences, and career aspirations. You will also play a pivotal role in helping students understand and navigate the admissions process for various international institutions, ensuring they meet all requirements and deadlines for application submissions.
• Additionally, you will collaborate with universities and other international educational partners to stay updated on the latest admissions policies, program offerings, and any changes that may affect prospective students. As a senior member of the counseling team, you will mentor junior counselors, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality advice and assistance.
• The position also involves organizing and attending recruitment events, including international education fairs, webinars, and workshops, where you will represent your institution or partner universities, promoting study opportunities abroad. Strong cross-cultural communication skills, in depth knowledge of international education systems, and an understanding of visa regulations will be essential to succeeding in this role.
• Provide expert advice and personalized counseling to prospective students regarding study abroad
• options, academic programs, university selection, and career pathways in destinations like the USA,
• UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, Malaysia, Dubai, Japan and South Korea.
• Assist students with the application process including guidance on admission requirements,
• scholarship opportunities, financial aid, deadlines and required documentation.
• Offer detailed information on visa processes.
• Stay informed about the latest admission procedures, requirements, and changes across various
• international institutions and countries.
• Organize and participate in international education fairs, webinars, workshops, and recruitment
• events to promote study abroad opportunities to prospective students.
• Meet the recruitment targets effectively.
• Report to the management on daily basis
• Collaborate effectively within the team.
