Additional Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in C#.net and PHP development, with a strong focus on Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks.
- 7+ years of proven experience in managing technical teams and leading software development projects, particularly for online platforms.
- 7+ years of strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- 5 years highly experienced in database design and management, server (AWS, Azure) and cyber security.
- Expert knowledge in MySQL stored procedures and triggers.
Responsibilities & Context:
The Senior Software Engineer will lead our technical teams in enhancing and expanding our suite of digital products. This role is critical in driving the technological strategy and execution that supports our online food ordering platform, EPoS system, and table reservation services.
- Manage a team of software engineers and web developers in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of our technical platforms, ensuring they meet business needs and performance standards.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX/UI Design, and Operations teams to align technical solutions with customer needs and company goals.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies and systems into existing infrastructure, including optimising our EPoS/MPoS system.
- Drive mobile and web application development innovation for enhanced user experience in food ordering and table reservations.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of all technical platforms, particularly in handling high transaction volumes and sensitive customer data.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the technology department, aligning them with business objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and developments in the food service industry.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the PHP Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks.
