What We Look For:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled ISP NOC Support Engineer with hands-on experience in network operations, routing, switching, and fiber network technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting abilities, be able to monitor and maintain network performance, and respond effectively to technical issues. Good communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
Configure and manage Routers, Switches, Mikrotik, and OLT devices.
Perform Mikrotik configurations including VLAN, BGP, filter rules, IP addressing, PPPoE, NAT, and Queue Management.
Configure and maintain OLT devices for EPON and GPON networks.
Work with enterprise-grade switches such as Cisco Nexus, Huawei, Arista, and BDCOM.
Monitor network performance and availability using tools such as The Dude, LibreNMS, MRTG, and other NMS platforms.
Provide technical support to MAC and Bandwidth clients and ensure timely issue resolution.
Respond to support calls, trouble tickets, and network incidents efficiently.
Troubleshoot network outages, connectivity issues, and performance-related problems.
Coordinate with field technicians for new link deployments, maintenance activities, and fault resolution.
Collaborate closely with NOC, Core Network, and Technical Teams to maintain network stability and service quality.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, incidents, and troubleshooting procedures.
Escalate critical issues appropriately and ensure proper follow-up until resolution.
Demonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities and perform effectively under pressure while meeting service-level targets.
