- 1 to 3 years of experience in quality control within a prefabricated steel building manufacturing Process.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of welding standards and fabrication practices.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as checklists, NCRs, and inspection reports.
- Basic knowledge of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods is a plus.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance.

Job Summary:
The QC Engineer is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of materials, components, and fabrication processes in the production of pre-engineered steel buildings. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities to maintain compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of fabricated components (welding, cutting, fitting, painting, etc.).
- Monitor welding processes and verify weld quality according to applicable standards (AWS, ISO, etc.).
- Inspect incoming materials and ensure they meet required specifications.
- Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and non-conformance reports.
- Coordinate with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with project-specific quality control plans and procedures.
- Support third-party inspections and client quality audits as required.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
