Education: - Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fisheries
- Diploma in Fisheries

Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a fish processing or food production environment.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, and other food safety standards.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with local and international food safety regulations and quality management systems.
Responsibilities & Context: - Supervise and monitor product quality at every stage of the processing chain.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and other food safety standards.
- Conduct product sampling, testing, and inspection to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Maintain records of all QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports to the management team.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and product traceability documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations.
- Coordinate and assist in internal and external audits, including BRC and other third-party certifications.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformance issues.
- Supervise junior QC staff and provide necessary guidance and support.
- Conduct training sessions on quality control procedures and food safety standards.
- Ensure adherence to personal hygiene and safety protocols among the team.
- Work closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies as required.
- Monitor equipment calibration and ensure proper functioning of QC tools and devices.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on new regulations, industry trends, and best practices in fish processing and quality management.
