Experience:
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a microbiology or quality assurance role, preferably in food or seafood processing.
Knowledge: Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and food safety regulations.
Skills:
Conduct microbiological tests on raw materials, finished products, and processing environments.
Perform routine testing for bacteria, molds, yeast, and pathogens (e.g., Salmonella, Listeria).
Monitor water quality used in the processing facility.
Ensure products meet international and local food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, EU standards).
Maintain strict hygiene practices in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Support the implementation and monitoring of the HACCP plan.
Prepare and maintain records of all microbiological tests and quality checks.
Generate reports and provide recommendations to improve hygiene and food safety.
Monitor the sanitation of equipment and work areas to prevent cross-contamination.
Conduct swab tests of surfaces, equipment, and air for microbiological monitoring.
Recommend corrective actions when deviations from food safety standards are identified.
Train plant employees on hygiene practices, food safety, and microbiological control.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure compliance with microbiological standards.
