∎ Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Additional certifications in food processing or production management are a plus.
∎ Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fish and shrimp processing or similar food production environments.Knowledge of production operations, food safety standards, and quality control practices.
∎ Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of fish and shrimp processing techniques, equipment, and regulations.
∎ Ability to troubleshoot production issues and provide solutions.Good leadership and team management skills.
∎ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
∎ Proficiency in MS Office and other production management tools.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee and manage the production process of fish and shrimp, ensuring optimal use of resources and equipment.
∎ Ensure all processing activities are conducted in compliance with company and regulatory standards (e.g., hygiene, quality control, and safety regulations).
∎ Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders, especially for export.
∎ Supervise and support production staff in daily operations, ensuring tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
∎ Maintain high-quality standards during the processing of fish and shrimp products.
∎ Regularly inspect the production process and ensure that product specifications are met.
∎ Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety regulations.
∎ Assist in the preparation for audits by regulatory authorities and third-party inspections.
∎ Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions to increase productivity and reduce waste.
∎ Implement process changes and track the results to ensure continuous improvement.
∎ Ensure proper inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.
∎ Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure the timely availability of materials.
∎ Oversee the maintenance and operation of processing equipment, ensuring all machinery is functional and efficient.
∎ Lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
∎ Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team performance.
∎ Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports as required by management.
∎ Provide regular updates on production performance, quality metrics, and any operational issues.
