Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.

• Develop and manage dealer and sub-dealer networks effectively.

• Conduct regular market visits as per the approved Permanent Journey Plan (PJP).

• Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.

• Collect orders and ensure timely product delivery and distribution.

• Monitor dealer credit and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.

• Maintain strong relationships with dealers and resolve operational issues.

• Organize farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and promotional activities.

• Promote new products and execute seasonal sales campaigns.

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and pesticide laws.

• Maintain proper inventory control and monitor product expiry.

• Prevent the sale of unauthorized, counterfeit, or expired products.

• Submit regular sales, stock, and market intelligence reports.

• Supervise field staff and monitor team performance where applicable.

• Protect and strengthen the company’s brand image within the territory.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Agriculture /BBA in Agribusiness/M.Sc. in Entomology from any reputed university.

• 3–5 years of sales and distribution experience in seeds and agrochemical industry.

• Strong dealer management and market development skills

• Good understanding of ERP/reporting systems

• Target-driven and strong in collection management

• Good communication and negotiation skills

• Good understanding and hands on experience of crop production technologies

• Specific academic requirements may be relaxed for candidates with relevant additional experience

• Having bike and valid driving license will be added advantage.
