Responsibilities & Context:

Key Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Marketing Head to lead our sales operations and drive business growth in the agro sector. The ideal candidate must have strong field experience and in-depth knowledge of seed and agrochemicals products and market dynamics.


Job Description

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans for agro products.

  • PnL Ownership: Take full ownership of the Input Business Profit and Loss (PnL).

  • Network Expansion: Expand the dealer and distribution network to increase market reach.

  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, farmers, and industry stakeholders.

  • Performance: Achieve sales targets and ensure consistent revenue growth.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitor analysis, providing intelligence reporting on challenging competitors.

  • Promotions: Organize promotional campaigns and frequent field visits.

  • Operational Reporting: Prepare sales reports and forecasts while coordinating with internal teams for smooth operations.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the sales team, including conducting annual performance evaluations of subordinates.

  • Credit Management: Manage credit customers effectively and efficiently to ensure maximum sales output and healthy cash flow.


Job Requirements

  • Employment Status: Full-Time.

  • Workstation: HQ, WeGro.

  • Educational Requirements:

    • B.Sc. in Agriculture (Mandatory).

    • MBA in Marketing or M.Sc. in Agronomy/Entomology.

  • Experience Requirements: 8 to 10 years of experience with a strong leadership background in the agro-input industry (Seeds/Agrochemicals).

  • Age: 33 to 45 years.

  • Gender: Only Male.

  • Additional Requirements & Preferred Skills:

    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

    • Good knowledge of the agro-market in Bangladesh.

    • Target-oriented and self-motivated.

    • Willingness to travel frequently across the country.

    • Experience in managing supplier communications is a plus.

    • Knowledge regarding the importation of seeds and agrochemicals is a plus.


Salary & Compensation

  • Salary: BDT 100K to BDT 120K (Monthly).
