Excellent knowledge of local feed ingredient markets and supplier networks across Bangladesh.
Responsibilities & Context:
Source and purchase locally available feed ingredients such as maize, rice bran, wheat bran, mustard oil cake, fish meal, meat & bone meal, limestone, salt, molasses, broken rice, soybean meal, and other raw materials.
Ensure all raw materials meet the required quality specifications approved by the Quality Control and R&D departments.
Maintain a steady supply of materials to support continuous feed production.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement plans based on production requirements and stock levels.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local suppliers and traders across different regions of Bangladesh.
Regularly assess supplier performance (quality, timeliness, and reliability) and maintain updated supplier databases.
Collect and analyse daily and weekly market price data of feed ingredients from major producing zones (e.g., northern, southern, and central regions).
Report market intelligence to management for pricing decisions and procurement planning.
