Education:

Graduation/ Post Graduation in any discipline, especially in Social Science, Psychology, Anthropology, and Management from any UGC approved reputed university or institute.

Additional Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of survivor-centered GBV case management, SEA prevention and reporting mechanisms, GBV core concepts, gender issues, referral pathways, and identification of high-risk cases to ensure timely services.

  • Ability to understand and navigate community dynamics through active community engagement and contextual awareness.

  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience with the ability to guide teams, enhance performance, and make timely, informed decisions with confidence.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, combining empathy, assertiveness, and a collaborative approach.

  • Proven problem-solving ability and adaptability, with compassion and effectiveness in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.

  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation principles, data analysis and interpretation, and preparation of concise narrative reports.

  • Strong teamwork skills with the capacity to coordinate effectively with internal staff and external partners.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, to support reporting and coordination tasks.



Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

The position will be responsible for ensuring survivor-centered case management services to survivors of gender-based violence. The supervisor will supervise and provide support to case workers and will coordinate with other sectors to ensure quality services are provided to individuals seeking GBV services.

  • Assess the case workers on GBV case management skills and design appropriate training topics,

  • Conduct trainings to case workers, volunteers and other stakeholders with pre- and post-test for evaluation and ensure GBV mainstreaming.

  • Closely coaching case workers for the process of capacity development in all facilities.

  • Ensure Supervision of the case worker by maintaining different supervision tools.

  • Provide accurate referrals and ensure adequate follow-up of all referred cases.

  • Provide technical support and guidance for the overall case management process to the caseworker.

  • Ensure and submit the monthly compiled IR and Activity info report to GBVIMS.

  • Submit Client feedback survey after case closing.

  • Represent Program activities to UNFPA, Senior Management, External visitors and GBV Sub Sector.

  • Support and provide guidance to the Caseworker for the volunteers’ recruitment process by maintaining the SOP

  • Perform other administrative & logistics tasks like giving work orders and taking food order, materials distribution etc.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including CIC and other NGO’s to enable and develop GBV programming in Camps.

Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
