Job Context:
∎ Promoting Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women and Girls in Clothing Industry Project
∎ based at CARE Gazipur Hub Office
∎ The duration of the proposed contract is up to February 29, 2020 (with highly possibility of extension)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain day to day communication with donor and project realted stakeholders ( like, factories, BGMEA etc)
∎ Prepare projet implementation plan for smooth implementation of project
∎ Manage the project budget budget by following the organizationl policy and procedure
∎ Ensure that CARE policies and procedures are followed in designing and implementing the different project/initiatives.
∎ Work closely with Dignified team members to mobilize the studies, assessment and evaluation of project.
∎ Develop action plans for achieving the training plan and studies time line.
∎ Ensure pro active actions on addressing challenges in implementation of the training program in the factory settings.
∎ Ensure necessary logistic support for timely implementation of training and studies programs.
∎ Facilitate innovations, maintain flexibility, and ensure learning culture to examine best practices around capacity building.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project planning and implementation preferably in the area of dignified work and women economic empowerment
∎ Proven track record of work in the RMG workers specially with women RMG.
∎ Strong facilitation background including participatory Program and workers mobilization.
∎ Ability to team building and can perform well under pressure.
∎ Ability to coordinate with counterparts and other stakeholders.
∎ Good communication skill in both verbal and written in Bangla and English.
∎ Good report writing skill also expected.
∎ Skills on budget preparation and monitoring.
∎ Experience in donor communication and budget management
∎ Experience in training programs with RMG workers.
∎ Creativity: Ability to think creatively and translate creative thinking in tangible outputs.
∎ Influencing: Ability to generate commitment and build consensus among others and gain their support.
∎ Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bengali.
∎ A true team player.
∎ Planning and Organizing: Able to define work goals and objectives and execute work-plans and contribute to the achievement of workgroup objectives.
∎ Other key competencies include analysis, facilitation, networking and collaboration, negotiation and strategic decision making.
∎ Computer knowledge both in English and Bangla is highly required.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
