  • Ensures effective coordination and collaboration with child protection actors, CiC authorities, and government stakeholders.

  • Proficient in digital data management, including accurate online data entry and timely, high-quality reporting of adolescent engagement activities.

  • Exhibits empathy, patience, and kindness when working with vulnerable children and adolescents.

  • Facilitates adolescent psychosocial well-being and life skills development through structured training and supportive engagement.



Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

To enhance life skills among Rohingya adolescents, strengthening their self-confidence, positive behavior, psychosocial well-being, gender equality awareness, and preparedness for future livelihoods, in line with humanitarian and child protection standards.

  • Facilitate regular, structured and participatory life skills sessions in camp-based learning centers.

  • Ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

  • Apply interactive methods such as group work, role play, case studies and discussions.

  • Implement age-appropriate and culturally sensitive modules.

  • Integrate gender equality, social cohesion and humanitarian values into sessions.

  • Follow approved guidelines (e.g., UNICEF or organizational modules).

  • Prepare reports, budgets, and other required documents accurately and submit them to the respective authorities promptly.

  • Maintaining effective liaison and coordination with different sectors of HCMP, other sectors of BRAC, national and international NGOs, and especially the CiC Office to ensure smooth and efficient case management support and service delivery.

  • Facilitate regular, structured and participatory life skills sessions in camp-based learning centers.

  • Ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

  • Apply interactive methods such as group work, role play, case studies and discussions.

Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
