Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create product designs that are innovative and align with the company's brand and target market.
∎ Develop technical specifications for each product design, including measurements, materials, and construction details.
∎ Work closely with the product development team to ensure that designs are feasible and can be manufactured within the company's production capabilities.
∎ Conduct market research to identify current trends and consumer preferences in the knit garments industry.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, sourcing, and production, to ensure timely and efficient product development.
∎ Create and maintain product development timelines and ensure that deadlines are met.
∎ Manage the entire product development process from ideation to launch, including prototyping, sampling, and testing.
∎ Ensure that product designs and developments meet the company's quality standards and are in compliance with all relevant regulations.
∎ Continuously evaluate and improve product designs and development processes to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
∎ Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and innovations in the knit garments industry and incorporate them into product designs and development processes as appropriate.
∎ Maintain communication with customer and give them proper feedback as required within timeline.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Excellent design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & 3D preferable.
∎ Strong technical skills, including patternmaking, grading, and construction techniques.
∎ Sounds knowledge in CAD software, CLO 3D, Microsoft Office and Excel.
∎ Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively present design concepts and technical specifications.
∎ Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
∎ Knowledge of the knit garments industry, including materials, production processes, and market trends.
∎ Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
∎ Creative problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
∎ 5-6 years of experience in product design and development in the knit garments industry.
