Additional Requirements:
- Experience of handling bulk production
Responsibilities & Context:
- Prepare and manage accurate product costing sheets, negotiating prices with suppliers and customers to achieve cost targets.
- Monitor cost variations and take corrective actions to maintain profitability, collaborating with design and production teams to develop new products.
- Source and select appropriate fabrics and trims, ensuring timely development and approval of samples from concept to pre-production samples (PPS).
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for PPS approval, conducting quality checks to ensure samples meet customer specifications.
- Manage and resolve any issues that arise during the sample approval process, overseeing the transition from sample to bulk production.
- Ensure production schedules are met and monitor production progress, addressing and resolving any production issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain strong communication with production teams to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for management on production status, costs, and any potential issues.
