• Create and execute a wide range of pastries, cake with attention to flavor, texture, and presentation.
• Innovate new recipes and seasonal offerings to align with market trends and customer preferences.
• Ensure consistency in production quality and adherence to factory standards.
• Lead, train, and inspire a team of pastry chefs and bakers to deliver high-quality output.
• Schedule and supervise daily operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and manage ingredient inventory, ensuring minimal waste and optimal use of resources.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to source high-quality ingredients.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the pastry department.
• Ensure timely production of pastries to meet daily and bulk order requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., packaging, sales, and marketing) to align production schedules with demand.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Implement quality control checks at various stages of production.
