Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Maintaining access to WASH, Shelter, Energy and Self-Reliance services for the Rohingyas in Bangladesh.
∎ The key purpose of“Senior Officer Logistics & Procurement’ is to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure effective implementation of project Logistics & Procurement interventions for maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the improved Project Logistics & Procurement services.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2022.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and control Logistic and Procurement activities of the project under the supervision of Manager, Logistics & procurement.
∎ Implement day-to-day Procurement and logistic support which accountable to NGOF or UNHCR procurement policies, procedure and requirement.
∎ Conducting regular sourcing for better supply reducing the inventory level by ensuring the lead time properly.
∎ Procurement of different construction, water treatment and other materials
∎ Preparation of requisition whenever available materials are below threshold level
∎ Store house maintenance and monitoring
∎ Collection of quotation, CS making, including bill summary and preparing other supporting documents with bills and vouchers.
∎ Preserving & presenting of files for donors audit trial requirements.
∎ Sourcing of new potential vendor & updated vendor document time to time.
∎ Conflict management, stress handling
∎ Maintaining a good liaison with LGI, beneficiary and host community, donors, different stakeholders and others.
∎ Providing additional support to project activities time to time
∎ Regular reporting on weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis
∎ Perform other duties relevant to the project as required
∎ Ensure compliance with income Tax and VAT regulations, especially in term of salary, benefits, procurement of goods and services.
∎ Responsible for all procurement of goods and services under NGOF project on time purchasing and dispatching any material required by the project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Basic knowledge on Logistics &Procurement principles, rules and regulations
∎ Professional work experience in logistics, Procurement & other supply chain management activities.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (MS Word, Excel, MS office)
∎ Good communication and networking skills both in Bangla & English

Salary: Tk. 102569 (Monthly)
