Job Context:

In continuation to that, BRAC has taken Humanitarian Crisis Management Project in Ukhia and Teknaf Upazila of Cox`s Bazar district to support the displaced people arriving from the Rakhine state of Myanmar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate and prepare project Chart of Accounts and modification system
∎ Coordinate preparing project budget and update in accounting system
∎ Review and track project purchase requisition
∎ Review procurement bills and compliance issues
∎ Coordinate project related asset management system
∎ Coordinate with sectors on various financial compliance issues.
∎ Monitor project expenditure to ensure expenditures are booked accordingly
∎ Coordinate project budget status with sector.
∎ Develop and track transaction review system to ensure compliance
∎ Coordinate with Internal, External and donor audit and its response.
∎ Review donor financial reports to ensure quality and compliance.
∎ Coordinate with relevant department to charge Head office related project cost accordingly
∎ Participate in procurement committee meeting on regular basis.
∎ Responsible for preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for BRAC and donor.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and also encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Have excellent computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (Especially in MS Excel)
∎ Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in a sensitive environment.
∎ Effective communication and presentation skills.
∎ Excellent influencing, negotiating and communication skills.
∎ Excellent organization, and coordination skills.
