Responsibilities & Context:

Alfamart, a leading international convenience store chain and one of the largest in its home country, is successfully operating in Bangladesh and continuing to expand its retail footprint.

We are seeking a competent Senior Officer – Digital & Promotion to manage and execute the company’s digital marketing and promotional activities in close coordination with both the international project team and local stakeholders. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing digital content strategies, managing social media platforms, executing promotional campaigns, ensuring consistent brand communication, and analyzing digital performance to enhance customer engagement and drive store traffic.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing multinational retail operation and play a key role in strengthening the brand’s digital presence and customer experience in the Bangladesh market.


Purpose of the Job:

The Senior Officer, Digital & Promotion is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales performance for ATBL. This role ensures the effective management of content across digital platforms, seamless execution of promotional campaigns, and accurate coordination of in-house systems and reporting. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging data-driven insights, the position aims to deliver impactful marketing initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage monthly content calendars for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), along with detailed communication plans.

  • Execute all digital marketing activities (Design & Video) in line with the approved content calendar.

  • Produce trending content and creative ideas for the better engagemnt of viewers/ customers.

  • Ensure timely updates of promotional campaigns on Alfabangla and monitor the progress accordingly.

  • Keep track of all the customer loyalty program that is currently running at Alfabangla.

  • Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure smooth execution of digital campaigns and platform operations.

  • Collect promotional inputs from merchandising and configure them into the internal software system.

  • Analyze and measures the promotional performance and prepare insightful reports using an analytical tools.

  • Prepare promotion claim, submit a reports and coordinate with the management for reconciliation before forwarding to Finance & Accounts Department for processing the debit note.

  • Handle customer queries efficiently by coordinating with relevant internal departments.
