• Strong commercial understanding of the chemical market.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, target-oriented and self-motivated Assistant Manager–Sales & Marketing to develop the company's chemical business, expand the customer base and achieve sales targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer relationship management, market development and collection.

Candidates with experience in industrial chemicals, textile chemicals, Washing Chemicals will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

• Develop and execute monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans.

• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.

• Identify new customers and business opportunities.

• Develop new markets and expand existing customer accounts.

• Generate leads through market visits, references, networking and direct communication.

• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.

• Negotiate price, payment terms and delivery conditions.

• Follow up leads from inquiry through order confirmation and delivery.

2. Sales Collection & Credit Control

• Follow up customer payments.

• Monitor outstanding receivables.

• Coordinate with Accounts/Finance regarding overdue payments.

• Ensure sales are made within approved credit limits.

• Maintain proper documentation of sales and collections.

Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.

• Submit sales forecasts and market-development plans.

• Report customer visits, orders, pending inquiries and collections.

• Analyze sales performance against targets.

• Provide competitor and market updates to management.

Educational Qualification

• MBA/M.Com. in Marketing

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering /  Textile Engineering / Other relevant degrees
