Job Context:
∎ Duty station: SNV Country Office in Dhaka with frequent travel to project locations.
∎ Contract Duration: The duration of this position is for two year (around).
∎ Expected Joining Date: As soon as possible latest by 1st January 2020
∎ Working Hours: Full time (minimum of 40 hours per week)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will be assisting to fine-tune M&E Plan and roll out the plan in the projects/program area
∎ Designing/redesigning a monitoring system to track IB projects/program progress by applying appropriate tools and techniques
∎ S/he will assist also assuring data quality through data quality assessment (DQA)
∎ Ensure developing/running the SNV provided web-based service delivery 'Management Information System (MIS)'
∎ Ensures that the databases under MIS are updated routinely and systematically reviewed
∎ Follow-up and monitor field activities as per the field plan agreed with the supervisor/line manager/Team Leader of RMG IB projects/program.
∎ Organize monitoring/MIS relevant capacity building events (i.e. orientation, training, workshop, learning session) with different stakeholders.
∎ S/he will share monitoring findings with relevant stakeholders so that findings/lessons learned can be incorporated into future programing
∎ The incumbent will assist in providing continuous technical assistance and guidance to the SNV partners in order to ensure effective implementation of the PME
∎ Provide technical support to team members and diff
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of five years of progressively working as M&E development works
∎ Proficient in latest paperless technologies and methods (Open data Kits/Survey-CTO/Akvo tools/COBO etc.)
∎ Knowledge and experience in different study/research design including methodologies
∎ Proficiency in MS Office, SPSS/STATA
∎ Fluent in Bengali and English
∎ Keen attention to detail with a methodical approach
∎ Strong analytical skills
∎ Ability to write reports and documentation
∎ Effective interpersonal and influencing skills and confident to communicate with different partners/key stakeholders
∎ Well organised, task orientated and able to co-ordinate a range of activities
∎ Ability to prioritize and deliver to tight timelines
∎ Ability and willingness to travel extensively in the project location in Gazipur, Savar Tangail and Narayangonj area
∎ Friendly and personable but confident to asks questions, challenge and seek clarification when required
∎ Ability to work on own initiative in a pro-active manner
∎ Good attitude with a focus on building positive working relationships
Salary:
∎ The total salary package will range between BDT 113,392 to BDT 128,481 per month, depending on the selected candidate`s work experience.
