∎ B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / MBA in Apparel Merchandising from any reputed University/Institutions.
∎ Masters in any discipline from reputed University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising, Product Development
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and deal with the Buyers independently for all the merchandising activities including product development, instant price quotation, negotiation and sourcing.
∎ Arrange all kinds of yarns, fabrics & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for sampling and production by leading a development team effectively.
∎ Keep liaison with Buyer for all the merchandising activities like order booking, processing, order follow up & product development.
∎ Play leading role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
∎ Work closely and leading a team with in house designers to meet Buyer's needs.
∎ Have to lead a development team of Merchandising and execute the taken order very professionally.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Have conversant to dealing any foreign buyers and managing them competently.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on oven products and its product development.
∎ Should have proven leadership and coordination skills.
∎ Should be self-motivated, sincere and have excellent negotiation skills.
∎ Should be fluent in English correspondences both in written & oral forms and well conversant with computer applications.
