∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Technology, Diploma in Textile Engineering, Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering, major in Garment/ Apparel Manufacturing Technology from KUET/ BUTex/ AUST/ NITER.Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from University of Dhaka, BRAC University, University of Chittagong, Jahangirnagar University.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage end-to-end merchandising activities from product development through to order shipment.
∎ Act as the primary point of contact between buyers and suppliers to ensure clarity and timely flow of information.
∎ Oversee costing, sampling, order placement, production follow-up, and shipment coordination.
∎ Evaluate and negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
∎ Supervise and mentor junior merchandisers to enhance team performance.
∎ Collaborate with quality assurance, production, and logistics teams to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards.
∎ Analyze customer preferences, market trends, and sales data to guide product planning and assortment.
∎ Ensure adherence to compliance, testing, and documentation requirements as per buyer standards.
∎ Production follow up from booking to shipment.
∎ Closely work with Planning Department to follow TNA.
∎ Coordinating with all related departments to ensure smooth production flow of the orders.
∎ Maintain all merchandising communication, including order files, tracking reports, and documentation.
∎ Supervise sample development and ensure timely submissions with approved quality.
∎ Sourcing of trims with required quality as well as ensure timely available at the factory premises.
∎ Prepare, verify and submit cost reconciliation reports after each order. Analyze shipment performance and take action to meet KPI.
∎ Submit performance reports and updates to management on regular basis. Any others job assigned by TOP management.
∎ Assist to look at designated accounts assigned by the management, and provide updates Follow up on sample developments and production with a high degree of personal responsibility
∎ Attend buyers meeting, negotiate, secure and execute with the reporting manager All required submission as per Buyer's demand including Gold, Black, Sample Fabrics, Trim Booking, etc.
∎ Co-ordinate with Production Team in order to deliver on time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to buyer Coordinate with Planning Manager to determine/fix delivery schedule (date) and sequence of implementing all order in the lines Work closely with QA to ensure best final product.
∎ Have to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of the production.
∎ To manage the complete merchandising cycle for Woven styles—from development to shipment
∎ To understand and interpret buyer requirements, tech packs, and deliver accurate product development
∎ To maintain strong communication with buyers, ensuring timely feedback, sample approval, and order confirmation
∎ To work closely with production, planning, QA, and commercial teams to ensure smooth order execution
∎ To handle costing, price negotiation, and order follow-ups
∎ To lead junior merchandisers and ensure team deliverables are met
∎ To conduct regular follow-ups with suppliers, factories, and buying offices
∎ To ensure quality standards and buyer compliance throughout the process
