∎ M.B.B.S, BMDC registered; good written and verbal communication in English.
Job Context:
∎ LAMB is a well-run major mission Hospital, Community Health Development, Training and Research organization. Services cover more than 6.3 million people in North West Bangladesh. The hospital is of 150 bed capacity, with fully equipped wards, labour room and operating theatres, plus a broad range of investigation facilities including X-ray, USG an ECG.
∎ The Hospital has departments of Obs-gynae, Paediatrics, Internal medicine, Surgery, Nursing and a Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disability.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Summary: Work within a team caring for in-patients and out-patients, mostly general medicine with options of all basic investigations including ultrasound, echocardiography and digital X-ray. Emergency and on call coverage backup to a junior doctor. Being responsible for quality care, following and updating our guidelines, teaching and supervising junior doctors and paramedics. While working at LAMB, doctors also have the opportunity:
∎ To participate in clinical audit projects and research
∎ To teach in LAMB Training Centre and Nursing Institute
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3-4 years of working experience out of which 2 years must be in a well-reputed hospital. PGT training in medicine and /or any additional training or qualifications will be added benefit. Part 1 is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary:
∎ Depending on qualification and clinical experience, Tk.50,000/- to 60,000/- per month or higher; other benefits include Medical Care at LAMB Hospital, Provident Fund, and a Festival allowance once per year.
