Role Overview

As a Senior Laravel Developer at Solution Explorer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade Laravel applications. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and QA engineers to build scalable systems, write clean and maintainable code, and ensure high performance and security across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel-based web applications

• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented PHP (Laravel) code

• Implement MVC architecture, service layers, and reusable components

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations

• Design and optimize databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)

• Create and manage migrations, seeders, and Eloquent relationships

• Optimize application performance, queries, and caching

• Write and maintain unit, feature, and API tests

• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices

• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and QA teams

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

• Maintain technical documentation and deployment readiness

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Laravel framework & ecosystem

• Proficiency in PHP 8+

• Solid understanding of MVC & SOLID principles

• Strong experience with RESTful API development

• Hands-on experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL

• Deep knowledge of Laravel Eloquent ORM

• Experience with unit, feature, and API testing

• Familiarity with PHPUnit / Pest

• Experience using Postman / Swagger

• Strong understanding of Git workflows (branches, PRs, code reviews)

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Ownership mindset and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vue.js or React

• Familiarity with Livewire or Inertia.js

• Experience with Redis, queues, and background jobs
