• Bachelor of Law (LLB)

• LL.B from a recognized university (LL.M preferred).
• Strong expertise in NI Act, Artha Rin Adalat Ain, Bangladesh Bank BRPD & DFIM Circulars, and SEC regulations.
• Member of the Bangladesh Bar Council (mandatory).

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Banks or Financial Institutions.

Strong expertise in NI Act, Artha Rin Adalat Ain, Bangladesh Bank BRPD & DFIM Circulars, and SEC regulations.

Excellent drafting, vetting, and legal documentation skills.

Member of the Bangladesh Bar Council (mandatory).

Exceptional communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.

High integrity, professionalism, and ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Manage legal matters under the Negotiable Instruments (NI) Act and Artha Rin Adalat Ain.
• Interpret and implement Bangladesh Bank BRPD & DFIM Circulars and SEC rules & regulations.
• Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies.
• Advise management on legal risks, compliance issues, and dispute resolution strategies.
• Maintain effective liaison with external counsels, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders.
