UpSkill Bangladesh is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior IT Sales & Business Development Officer to join our Dhaka office in an onsite role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT/software sales, government/private tender submissions, and client acquisition, with strong communication and a strategic mindset.
Job Location: Onsite – Dhaka
Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday (Friday & Saturday are holidays)
Office Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Job Overview: The role focuses on driving business growth through high-impact sales, tender management, and strategic marketing initiatives. The candidate will engage with government and corporate clients, submit tenders, conduct on-site sales visits, and support the execution of effective marketing strategies.
Business Development & IT Sales
Identify and pursue IT project opportunities with government and private clients (local & international)
Conduct door-to-door client visits, presentations, and relationship-building meetings
Promote and sell digital solutions including Web, Mobile, Cloud, Cybersecurity, ERP, BPO, and IT software/CRM systems
Generate and manage a strong pipeline to achieve sales and revenue targets
Tender & Proposal Management
Track and respond to tenders via CPTU (Bangladesh) and SAM.gov (USA)
Prepare and submit technical & financial proposals, EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, ensuring compliance with requirements
Coordinate with internal teams for accurate proposal documentation and pricing strategies
Maintain a record of tender submissions, deadlines, and follow-ups
Client Relationship & Marketing Support
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, and strategic partners
Conduct on-site client visits, presentations, and follow-ups to strengthen relationships
Ensure excellent client satisfaction through timely communication and professional support
Gather client feedback, identify new opportunities, and support field-level sales initiatives
Reporting & Strategic Contributions
Provide insights and recommendations for business growth and market expansion
Maintain sales reports, tender status updates, and performance metrics
Participate in strategic planning for business development initiatives
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in IT/software sales and business development, including hands-on field-level sales and client visits
Hands-on experience in government/private tender submission (CPTU/e-GP experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of IT solutions, CRM, ERP, and digital software sales
Proven experience in door-to-door client engagement and relationship management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal writing skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
