Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in commerce preferably in finance /accounting with three years relevant experience. CA course completed or any professional experience will be preferable.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in preparation of annual audit Plan
∎ Execution of audit as per annual audit plan
∎ Preparation of audit report and submit to Head of IAD
∎ General
∎ Activity # 01. (Assist in preparation of annual audit Plan)
∎ Conduct audit need assessment
∎ Collect information from Sector and CSU the number of projects existing, volume of funds, project duration, etc.
∎ Take priority of audit based on risk management like organization risk, financial risk and environmental risk, etc.
∎ Activity # 02. (Execution of audit as per annual audit plan)
∎ Communicate with Sectors, CSUs and respective fields.
∎ Collect vouchers and relevant documents from Finance and Sectors
∎ Review and complete vouching before field visit
∎ Sharing findings with Head of IAD and take advice accordingly.
∎ Keep in close contact with the Head of IAD at the time of carry out of audit.
∎ Conduct spot check if necessary.
∎ Conduct field visit of the respective project.
∎ Follow-up the implementation status of previous audit report findings and recommendations
∎ Check and identify any loopholes of internal control procedure and make suggestions for improvements.
∎ Collect sufficient documentation and filing.
∎ Conduct entrance and exit meeting before and after audit.
∎ Sharing the bullet points to the respective Sectors/CSUs
∎ Activity # 03. Preparation of audit report and submit to Head of IAD
∎ Prepare draft audit report as per the audit template.
∎ Risk rating the audit findings with appropriate recommendations.
∎ Ensure compliance with Friendship policies and guidelines as appropriate.
∎ Submit draft audit report to Head of IAD within time frame.
∎ Assist Head of IAD to compile the final draft audit report incorporating Sector/CSU responses.
∎ Activity # 04. (General)
∎ Aware and update of Friendship policy, procedures, donor rules and compliances as well as Government rules for the NGOs
∎ Perform special assignment and investigation as advised by the Head of IAD/management.
∎ Attend weekly meetings of the IAD.
∎ Ensure good working relationships with all colleagues and enabling office environment.
∎ Ensure all advances are adjusted before going to next visit.
∎ Assist Head of IAD in preparing IAD annual budget
∎ Assist Head of IAD in updating SAP.
∎ Any other duty assigned by the head of IAD and management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Have excellent report writing and auditing skills.
∎ Highly maintain Organization’s Core competencies.
∎ Willingness to visit project areas and offices outside of Dhaka frequently.
∎ Have problem solving ability in technical aspects.
∎ Knowledge of finance and administrative policy as well as Govt. rules for NGOs.
∎ Excellent computer operating skills.
∎ Good communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, Motivation skills and Team management.
∎ Experience of budgeting and accounting terminology.
