Responsibilities & Context:

Location: Remote Type: Full-time

As a Front-end Developer, you are responsible for developing and optimizing responsive, conversion-focused websites and webshops. You will work closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver pixel-perfect front-end implementations.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing and modifying websites and webshops using HTML, CSS (SCSS or LESS), and JavaScript (ES6+)

• Building responsive and user-friendly websites with a strong focus on speed and conversion

• Implementing custom functionalities via AJAX API or Admin API

• Translating wireframes and designs into scalable and high-quality front-end components

• Optimizing code for performance and compatibility across different browsers and devices

• Collaborating with backend developers and other team members to ensure seamless integrations and data exchanges

• Writing clean, reusable, and well-documented code

What you bring:

• At least 4 years of experience as a front-end developer

• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS or LESS), and JavaScript (ES6+)

• Experience with Shopify’s AJAX API or Admin API

• Experience with React

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

• Strong communication skills in English

• A solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

• A structured approach to work and the ability to write maintainable and readable code

Nice to have (Bonus points):

• Experience with Remix or other modern JavaScript frameworks

• Affinity with or experience in the e-commerce or Shopify industry
