Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing the project budget in accordance with the resulting framework and project document in a participatory process.
∎ Internal & external audit requirements fill up.
∎ Ensuring statutory financial statements, e.g. balance sheets, income and expenditure statements, receipts & payments statements, etc. are prepared on time.
∎ Submitting financial statements to the Manager-Finance and Admin.
∎ Maintaining project-related documents like MOA, MOU, DOA, and other agreements and contacts.
∎ Maintaining liaison with development partners and sub-contractor on all types of financial matters.
∎ Ensuring periodic (monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/yearly) financial reports, DCT, and liquidation for donors.
∎ Prepare staff monthly salary sheet and transferred to the bank on a monthly basis and others banking works as needed.
∎ Assisting auditors and consultants to carry out their activities.
∎ Ensuring deduction to VAT & Tax at source from the supplies and service providers.
∎ To maintain furniture fixture & equipment register and prepare the half-yearly report and submit it to the donor.
∎ Check all vouchers/bills accordingly and seek necessary approval and payment as per JCF policy/guidelines and donor instruction in a timely manner.
∎ Coordinate and assist the Manager-Finance & Admin in all aspects of administrative and financial-related areas.
∎ Ensuring voucher posting in organizational software.
∎ Ensure logistic support to the project staff.
∎ Meet up the financial requirement of project staff on time.
∎ Any other assignment by the Manager-Finance and Admin/authority.
∎ Follow the organization's Child Safeguarding, PSEA, Gender, and WB Policy.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Must have at least 5 years of relevant working experience in any reputed NGO.
∎ 3 years’ experience in humanitarian or development programs/grants department.
∎ Required to be able to function comfortably in a complex work environment, under pressure whilst prioritizing multiple tasks.
∎ Good supervisory, time management and interpersonal skills.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bangla and English.
∎ Have computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
∎ Required to be able to work under minimal supervision.
∎ Demonstrable understanding of project planning and project cycle management
∎ Ability to build good working relationships and work effectively with programs, fields, and organizations.
∎ This job requires strong analytical skills to be able to make logical and strategic budget decisions.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 86,625 per month, Consolidated and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
