Responsibilities & Context:

Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd. (BOGCL), is looking for competent candidate for the Position of "Senior Executive- Supply Chain Division" at Hazaribagh, South Keraniganj, Dhaka.

Create detailed procurement plans aligned with production schedules and budget forecasts

  • Source mechanical items (e.g., pumps, valves, spare parts) and electrical items (e.g., motors, cables, LT panels, PTs, lighting) from international vendors

  • Procurement of raw materials and consumables (e.g., chemicals, CR coils, Corrosion Inhibitor)

  • Prepare technical specifications, RFQs, and comparative statements for management review

  • Vendor identification, evaluation, and negotiation

  • Finalize contracts ensuring compliance with company policies and international trade regulations

  • Draft and manage Letter of Credit (LC) documentation with banking departments

  • Coordinate with finance/accounts for payment schedules, currency hedging, and cost optimization

  • Maintain audit-ready records of all procurement transactions and vendor communications

  • Plan and oversee transportation from: Factory/Warehouse to Loading Port and Unloading Port to Factory premises

  • Collaborate with freight forwarders and CNF agents to ensure timely and compliant delivery

  • Monitor and resolve issues related to customs clearance and port handling

  • Implement Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to align procurement with production needs

  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstock

  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for real-time inventory tracking

  • Create detailed procurement reports, vendor evaluations, and justification notes for internal and audit use (ISO)

  • Maintain up-to-date records of import licenses, HS codes, and regulatory documents

  • Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with internal SOPs and external regulations
