Responsibilities & Context:
Independently manage raw material planning based on merchandising requirements, approved samples, and technical documents.
Source, evaluate, and manage approved suppliers for trims and accessories, ensuring quality, cost, and timely delivery.
Oversee product development and sample submission process and ensure buyer/management approvals.
Negotiate prices, lead time, payment terms, and delivery modes to achieve cost optimization.
Prepare and finalize comparative statement (CS) and obtain management approval within budget.
Review and control order documents (BOM, TNA, Spec Sheet, Consumption) for bulk material booking accuracy.
Monitor raw material stock through ERP and warehouse coordination to avoid shortage or excess.
Issue and control POs against approved PIs and ensure proper system and management approvals.
Coordinate with Accounts, Commercial, and C&F teams for timely payment, shipment, customs clearance, and in-house delivery.
Monitor inventory status, resolve quality/shortage issues proactively, and support production planning for smooth operation.
