Job Responsibilities:
∎ STRATEGY
∎ Oversee and execute design’s vision while meeting PDM / UK Business Head needs through strategic development and right first-time sampling.
∎ Manage the execution of Seasonal Calendar development activities that are specific to garment development; create Techpack when required and maintain garment specifications for all styles.
∎ Support the product development process / sample section by delivering accurate Product Details.
∎ A general cost calculation and sourcing idea to ensure the reproducibility and quality of the products.
∎ Collaborate with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps.
∎ Able to work in line with deadlines.
∎ Supervise and support product managers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
∎ Responsible for achieving all garment specs (fit, fabric, trims etc.) according to the agreed Techpack, and in partnership with the technical development team.
∎ Execute a development plan that balances innovation, quality, and cost while mitigating risk.
∎ Help manage development before it is gone for sourcing and help guide the Sample / CAD section on design / pattern.
∎ Retrieve and analyze feedback from customers? stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements? features and end products.
∎ Drive fabric strategies in line with PD team needs and merchandising strategies.
∎ Help to prepare / arrange samples for seasonal buying / marketing meetings.
∎ Maintain PD fabric library of core and novelty fabrics for design’s use.
∎ Coordinate for supplier development, supplier briefing and seasonal supplier evaluation.
∎ Optimize and keep every stage in the development process as efficient as possible.
∎ Build trust and create understanding and possibilities, to make creative solutions and optimize profitability.
∎ Assist in establishing and enhancing customer relations.
∎ Train the team members and suppliers about the customer.
∎ Strong communicator who can explain a complex context in simple terms.
∎ Creation and maintenance of development WIP / Tracker.
∎ Ad. hoc project as assigned by Seniors.
∎ RESEARCH AND DESIGN
∎ Research and development of seasonal fabrics, mock-ups, samples, trims, prints, and washes.
∎ Interpret our trends and visual goals into materials and products which correspond to the customer's demand.
∎ Maintain PD reports.
∎ PRODUCT FINALIZATION
∎ Facilitate the development of aesthetically correct samples that meet design’s vision.
∎ Manage development of new garments that are executable in bulk production environments.
∎ Ensure the sample is in correct fit and shape.
∎ Maintain bought and developed sample logs regularly.
∎ Responsible for updating PD room sample racks.

∎ Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of product development process and team building.
∎ Ability to observe, critical thinking, work under pressure and multitasking ability.
∎ Team player with a positive attitude and enjoy taking the initiative being agile.
∎ Very structured approach to work, and a fast learner of new procedures.
∎ Strategic thinking and process focused.
∎ Lead cross-functional teams.
∎ Goal-oriented.
∎ Expert level user of Graphic software/s.
