Additional Requirements: Responsibilities & Context: Administrative & Regulatory Affairs Sr. Executive/ Asst. Manager will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing administrative functions, and supporting regulatory affairs initiatives within the hospital. S/He will play pivotal role in maintaining operational efficiency, legal compliance, and quality patient care.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and interpret healthcare regulations, laws, and accreditation standards to ensure hospital-wide compliance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to address regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks.
- Coordinate internal audits and regulatory inspections, and collaborate with relevant departments to address findings and implement corrective actions.
Administrative Management:
- Oversee daily administrative operations, including office management, correspondence handling, and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation, both physical and digital, ensuring accessibility and confidentiality.
- Manage administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
Licensing and Accreditation:
- Manage licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to standards set by regulatory bodies and accrediting agencies.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for licensure applications, renewals, and accreditation surveys.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to meet accreditation requirements.
Policy Development and Review:
- Develop, review, and update hospital policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory changes and best practices.
- Communicate policy updates to staff and ensure understanding and compliance across departments.
- Maintain a centralized repository of policies and procedures, ensuring easy access and version control.
Training:
- Develop and deliver training programs on regulatory compliance, policies, and procedures for hospital staff.
- Keep staff informed about changes in regulations and accreditation standards, providing guidance on implementation and compliance.
